Questions
Is designing for the subconscious manipulative?
No. We don’t invent needs. We make your real strengths easier to recognise and remember. If the product isn’t good, no symbol will hold for long.
How is this different from a design agency?
A design agency decides how you look. We first decide what customers’ subconscious should remember about you, then how it should look. Design is the result of positioning, not the starting point.
Why is there a six-month minimum?
Memory takes time and repetition. The first three months cover decoding and positioning. After that we put the same cue on every touchpoint and strengthen it based on real results. After six months it runs month to month, with 60 days’ notice to stop.
Can I start with just a website, ad or SEO?
Yes. If your positioning is already clear, each service can be bought on its own. If it isn’t, we’ll recommend starting with positioning so every dollar strengthens the same memory.
Do prices include GST and ad spend?
No. All prices exclude GST, which is added at 10% on invoices. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to Meta, Google and other platforms, and our management fee is 15% of spend, with a minimum of A$2,000 a month.
Do you only work in Melbourne?
We’re based in Melbourne and work across Australia. Strategy can be done remotely, and workshops and shoots happen in your city.
Can we work in Chinese?
Yes. We can work with you entirely in English or Mandarin, and produce bilingual brand materials.
